Right of cancellation for consumers
(A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside his trade, business or profession).

Right of cancellation
You have the right to cancel a contract concluded with us within fourteen days without giving any reason (except for the cases where the right of cancellation is excluded as stated below). The cancellation period is fourteen days from the date of conclusion of the contract.
To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us (Isabell Freund, IF Equine Therapies, Kylebrack, Loughrea, Co. Galway, Ireland) of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail or via our contact form: https://if-therapies.com/contact/).
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.
Consequences of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract. For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this repayment.
Exclusion of the right of cancellation
The right of cancellation does not apply to:
1. service contracts after the service has been fully performed, if performance has begun with consumer’s prior express consent and the consumer’s acknowledgement that he will lose the right to cancel the contract, once the contract has been performed by the trader.
2. contracts for the supply of digital content not on a tangible medium where the performance has begun after the consumer: (a) has expressly consented to the trader starting to perform the contract before the expiry of the cancellation period and (b) has confirmed his knowledge that he loses his right of cancellation by consenting to the start of the performance of the contract.
3. contracts for the provision of services in connection with leisure activities if the contract provides for a specific date or period for the provision.
Cancellation and refund policy for hands-on courses
In the event of a hands-on course being cancelled by IF Equine Therapies, participants will receive a full refund of the course fee.
For cancellations by the participant received at least 3 weeks (21 days) prior to the course date, fees will be refunded less the non-refundable administration fee of 10%.
For cancellations by the participant received within 7-21 days prior to the course date, the participant receives a refund of 50% or has the option to transfer the booking to another equivalent hands-on course, where available.
For cancellations by the participant received less than 7 days before the course date, no refund is given. The participant has the option to transfer their booking to another equivalent hands-on course, where available.
For cancellations on the course date or if the participant misses (part of) the course for any reason that is not the fault of IF Equine Therapies, no refunds or options to transfer will be given.
