Nice to Meet You

I am Isabell, founder of IF Equine Therapies. My journey started when, in my 20s and working in my early career as a lawyer, I sought help for back problems affecting the rideability of one of my own horses and experienced the power and effectiveness of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Utterly intrigued, I ventured out to study and learn more and the rest is history.

My goal today is to help you and your horses as I and my horse were helped by combining Traditional Chinese Medicine with manual therapies and bodywork. Besides addressing any actual issue, I am taking a holistic approach to identify the root cause and other contributing factors to find the best solutions for the team that is you and your horse. I believe that, in a lot of situations, some extra support is not only beneficial but needed to maintain or improve both the well-being and performance of our horses. It is our responsibility to be the best we can be for them so that they can be the best they can be for us.

Since taking my initial early steps into the world of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, I trained as an animal health practitioner in Germany, as an equine and canine acupressure practitioner with the Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute in the UK and further deepened my training in equine and canine acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine with Dr. Jean Yves Guray and Lydia Galka.
